| 2004 Small Payload Rideshare Conference |
The National Reconnaissance Office, the USAF
Space and Missile Systems Center/Space Test Program
Office, and the National Aeronautics and Space
Administration/Goddard Spaceflight Center sponsor
the Small Payload Rideshare Conference. This annual
conference is designed to address the issues related
to access to space for small payloads, their potential
benefits, and the key technologies for achieving
affordable access to space.
The 2004 Small Payload Rideshare Conference will
be held on May 11-13, 2004, in Anchorage, Alaska
at the Hilton Anchorage. The conference will include
a tour of the Kodiak Launch Complex on Kodiak
Island.

Sessions will consist of panels on 1) The value
of small payloads, 2) What unique applications
can be filled by small payloads, 3) What are the
impediments to realizing the full potential of
small payloads, and 4) What method of transportation
is the key to affordable access to space. In addition
to the panels, there will be presentations on:
