Support functions includes administrative, logistics, operations, and non-acquisition program management
Provide expertise for acquisition, operations, customer support, launch, and other NRO missions
In coordination with acquisition resources, ensure that all NRO contracts meet federal requirements, regulations, policies, and standards
Lead the formulation and execution of NRO's budget and advise programs or major systems acquisitions of the phases of the budgetary process
Develop security threat protection planning and execution for operations across NRO programs, facilities, and personnel
Provide recommendations, briefings, and insights to management on program status, contractor performance, and significant decision points
NRO's uniformed military workforce is a highly competitive assignment; we take the best of the forces to support our mission areas
NRO has received approval from the Department of Defense to hire for specific critical positions during the hiring freeze, per DOD memorandum "Immediate Civilian Hiring Freeze for Alignment with National Defense Priorities" dated 28 February.
