The NRO seeks college seniors, recent graduates or early-career professionals to join the NRO’s Non-Competitive Program. This program is designed for those with a drive for excellence and commitment to the NRO's core values. It accelerates professional development with mission-critical assignments, giving program graduates the expertise and innovation to proactively contribute to the NRO's future.
The Non-Competitive Program provides a guided career pathway that typically takes 3-5 years to achieve a full performance level of duties. NRO Cadre employees in non-competitive positions may be promoted to full performance. This promotion is decided on by meeting benchmarks and milestones established by NRO Career Field Managers and in accordance with career development program standards and guidance.
