Office of Equal Employment Opportunity Programs
The NRO's Office of Equal Employment Opportunity is committed to creating a workplace environment where every employee may reach their full potential.
The EEO Program is committed to providing efficient, fair, and impartial processing of equal opportunity complaints, ensuring that equal opportunity in employment is available for all persons and strives to ensure workplace culture represents the values of all employees across the NRO.
The Anti-Harassment Program reinforces the NRO’s commitment to and the prevention of workplace harassment by providing a process to address and resolve harassment concerns at the lowest level. All managers or supervisors who receive allegations of harassment or have reason to believe a form of harassment is occurring must take immediate and effective corrective measures to end the unwelcome behavior, even if the individual does not wish to make a complaint.
The Military Equal Opportunity Program offers an alternative means of redress from the chain of command for equal opportunity complaints for NRO service members. The MEO program maintains robust outreach, education, proactive, and preventative programs.
The Accessibility and Accommodations Program (AAP) ensures that qualified individuals with disabilities have an equal opportunity to perform the essential functions of their position and to enjoy the benefits of their employment. AAP is responsible for providing reasonable accommodations and personal assistant services to qualified individuals with disabilities.
